Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora
The Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Piedade known as the Mother Sovereign Sanctuary, located in the parish of São Sebastião, in the municipality of Loulé, is one of the most important Marian shrines in Portugal and in which its annual celebration is recognized as “the largest religious manifestation in the south of the country.
City Park
Considered the “lung” of the city of Loulé in an attractive place for the population, in a space intended for sports or pure leisure, as well as cultural activities, ensuring all the necessary conditions for the proper functioning of this infrastructure. p>
The Castle
The castle of Arab origin, rebuilt in the 18th century. XIII, had a large walled perimeter, part of which is still visible.
Municipal Market
The building was built according to a project by the architect Alfredo Costa Campos, from Lisbon, although the same project has undergone some changes since the initial document of 1903 which in turn was based on another project from 1898 whose author is not known .
Med Festival
For several days, the Med Festival enlivens the historic centre of Loulé with concerts by well-known names from the world music scene.
